The retrofit kit as basis for testing common rail components

The splash protection, which is necessary at a constant applied pressure of up to 1,800 bar, is a highly visible component. The high-pressure rail including the pressure sensors functions as a pressure accumulator with integrated controller.

The distributor divides the volumetric flow before the cooling system and quantity measurement. The control unit activates the sensors and valves of the test specimen and rails. The regulating valve is used to control the return flow pressure of the pump to be tested, thus simulating a vehicle situation. The adapters for securing the various components are offered as special accessories. The heat exchanger is required for test oil cooling prior to the measurement of both the CR pumps and CR injectors.
